Position Summary
This position is for a full-time STEM teacher. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, a passion for innovation, and the ability to guide students in a creative, sometimes chaotic, learning environment. The role requires someone comfortable with troubleshooting, willing to try new things, and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a hands-on learning environment where students can explore STEM concepts
  • Maintain classroom conduct expectations while encouraging creativity and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to align projects with school goals and student learning profiles
  • Support the integration of new technologies and learning tools into classroom instruction
  • Participate actively in school culture through duties like lunch coverage, recess, and other responsibilities
     
 
Minimum Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and relevant teaching experience
  • Familiarity with block-based coding and 3D modeling tools like Tinkercad
  • Toyota Kata knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient in 3D printing technology
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to attend evening events as needed
     

Advancement Coordinator - Part Time

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the planning and execution of all matters related to Annual Fund giving and donor stewardship. This position will also be responsible for database management for the Advancement Team. The Advancement Coordinator reports to the Head of Institutional Advancement, and serves on the Advancement Team.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Working with Head of Institutional Advancement, oversee the strategy development, design and production of print and electronic collateral materials and other solicitations
  • Working with the Head of Institutional Advancement, determine solicitation strategies for upgrading existing donors under $10,000 to major gift prospects
  • Manage donor gift acknowledgement processes
  • Develop strategic donor recognition and stewardship opportunities (ie-create new donor welcome package, anniversary cards to recognize donor loyalty, phone thank-a-thon, etc.)
  • Manage CRM software and all entry and processing of donations, pledges, major gifts, in-kind, including auction and special events
  • Research, build, and maintain database profile records in collaboration with Alumni Relations & Special Events Coordinator
  • Create appropriate data entry for notes/cultivation activities/appeals/segmentation, etc.
  • Manage a detailed calendar of direct marketing activities
  • Manage staff/employee giving
  • Actively participate as a member of the Advancement Team and subsequent tasks as assigned
 
Minimum Position Requirements

This position is 20 hours a week.

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years experience in related field
  • Possess high level of integrity with willingness to abide by confidentiality constraints
  • Ability to initiate and maintain consistent and positive communication between multiple parties
  • Strong organizational skills that allow for multiple work assignments to be completed simultaneously and accurately
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms & Software
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, as required

Lower School Teacher: 3rd-5th grade

Position Summary

This position is for a full-time Lower School content teacher beginning August of 2025. The ideal candidate would be committed to personal growth, possess excellent communication skills, be innovative in the classroom using hands-on multisensory instruction, and be able to develop strong connections with both students and parents. 

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily affairs of a classroom
  • Ensure that multisensory instruction is delivered 
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure adherence to individualized learning profiles of students
  • Contribute to the overall school culture by embracing school-day duties such as recess coverage, lunch support, and carline responsibilities
  • Actively participate as a member of the Lower School team and subsequent tasks as assigned
 
Minimum Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and prior teaching experience
  • Orton-Gillingham training required, will be provided as needed

Outreach & Grants Coordinator - Part Time

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the planning and execution of all outward facing educational opportunities including summer camp, as well as support of in-house training. This position is also responsible for researching, writing, and securing grants that support both the academic program and the outreach program. This position reports to the Head of Institutional Advancement and serves as a member of the Advancement Team.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs analysis to develop ideas and schedule of outreach/training programs in coordination with Head of Institutional Advancement and Director of OG Training
  • Create calendar for events and schedule/execute the planned events including registration, certifications, day-of activities, and follow-up
  • Work with Head of Institutional Advancement on marketing strategies to drive attendance
  • Ensure brand fidelity with all presentations representing Camperdown Academy
  • Build connections and solicit community partners for presentations/workshops
  • Develop relationships with school systems/universities for ongoing professional development
  • Create and maintain updated database profile records within established CRM software including mailing lists for marketing outreach/training
  • Manage and facilitate free literacy screenings for interested preschool students
  • In cooperation with the Camp Director, provide support for marketing/enrollment of camp
  • Maintain a grants calendar and manage assigned dates/applications for LOI, proposal, follow-up, thank-you’s, and required post-reporting
  • Actively participate as a member of the Advancement Team and subsequent tasks as assigned
 
Minimum Position Requirements

This position is 20 hours a week.

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years experience in related field
  • Ability to initiate and maintain consistent and positive communication between multiple parties
  • Strong organizational skills that allow for multiple work assignments to be completed simultaneously and accurately 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and reliable transportation
  • Effective and persuasive writing skills
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms & software
