ELA Teacher
Camperdown Academy, which educates students with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences, is seeking an outstanding, full-time, elementary/middle school ELA teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This teacher will be responsible for writing and grammar instruction and instilling a love of writing in their students. The teacher will be responsible for managing the daily affairs of a classroom including parent communication, teacher collaboration, and other school day duties. The ideal candidate will moderate class discussions to foster student learning, and maintain a flexible and creative approach. A Bachelor’s degree is required with some prior teaching experience preferred. Applicants should be highly creative, passionate, experienced education professionals who are Orton-Gillingham trained, have the ability to meet the needs of individual students, and are adept at utilizing multi-sensory instructional techniques to support a broad range of student learning styles. Additionally, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be committed to developing successful learners.

Math Teacher
Camperdown Academy, which educates students with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences, is seeking an outstanding, full-time, elementary math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is responsible for teaching 3rd-5th grade students using a multisensory approach that leads students through the learning stages of concrete, representational, and abstract. The ideal candidate would have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to develop positive connections with students, colleagues, and parents. Candidates must be willing to serve on the math team and contribute to the department as a whole. The math department may assign work over school breaks where minimal interaction with students may be necessary. The teacher will be responsible for managing the daily affairs of a classroom and other school day duties. A Bachelor’s degree and prior math experience is required.

A bachelor’s degree in Elementary, and/or Special Education with 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, or acceptable combination of education and experience, is required. Additionally, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be committed to developing successful learners who will be prepared for careers of the 21st century.
