Who We Serve
Camperdown Academy accepts students in grades one through eight with a primary diagnosis of a language-based learning difference such as dyslexia. The efficacy of the programming requires that applicants have cognitive ability in the average to superior range. Camperdown is not able to appropriately serve students with a primary diagnosis of autism, emotional disabilities, or conduct disorders. While some of our students may also have ADHD as a secondary diagnosis to dyslexia, no one is admitted with only a diagnosis of ADHD.
We accept qualified candidates without regard to race, sex, creed, religion, color, or national ethnic origin.
