Sports & After School Activities
Camperdown offers a variety of optional after school programs designed to emphasize sportsmanship, camaraderie, and skill growth. Coaches reinforce language skills and students practice listening, sequencing, processing, and articulating in a more informal setting.
Younger students may choose to participate in a rotating list of options. Activities may include roller skating, soccer basketball, gaga ball, nine-square, kickball, and flag football. These sports are intramural and focus on building teamwork and gross motor skills. Student interest and instructor availability guide the process for selecting activities. Many of the activities are free, but several offerings do require an additional fee.
Middle school students may join sports teams that compete against other area schools. Sports seasons include fall soccer and volleyball, winter basketball, and spring tennis. Most teams are co-ed, but volleyball is just for girls.
