Free Language and Literacy Screening

Recognizing the compelling research that highlights the importance of early identification of students' needs and the potency of early intervention, Camperdown Academy seeks opportunities to identify students as young as four or five years old who are at risk for reading failure.

Camperdown Academy offers free screenings for early language and literacy skills and signs of reading difficulty. Camperdown uses highly trained and experienced professionals to provide this free service to children who are four or five years of age.

The screening can indicate whether a child is exhibiting specific difficulties in reading and language development. The screening does not provide an official diagnosis, but can indicate if further testing is beneficial.

If your child demonstrates difficulty with acquiring reading and literacy skills and shows early signs of reading difficulty, a screening would be a helpful tool. Screenings are by appointment.

Contact Keri Knisley at kknisley@camperdown.org to schedule a screening.
