Admissions Process

Camperdown Academy’s admissions process allows families to learn more about the school while giving Camperdown the opportunity to better understand the prospective student and their learning needs. The admissions process is explained in detail below.

Parent tour and meeting: Call 864-244-8899 ext. 103

Tours are offered at 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday.

Click here for the online application. Psychoeducational testing within the past 2 years is required. If your child is in need of testing, please contact Keri Knisley.

Observation of prospective student in their current classroom

A visit to the student’s current school may be arranged to observe them in their regular classroom setting and gain a clearer understanding of their learning style.

Student visitation at Camperdown Academy (1-2 days)

Prospective students are invited to a campus visit, where they can join classes and experience daily student life firsthand.

Admissions Committee meeting

An experienced group of faculty and staff review prospective students.

Enrollment decision and parent notification

The Admissions Director will reach out within a week after the student visit to share recommendations and/or discuss next steps.
